WHY IT MAY BE WRONG TO “BE YOURSELF”

I have a writing style called: “truthiness to self”. This style was so profound that I gave series of interviews on it. However, I stopped talking about it or promoting it for some time when I realized I was not qualified to adopt it and adopting it at that stage could be eternally detrimental to achieving my purpose for living. I needed to discover and develop myself before I can adopt the philosophy and use it most effectively, not only for the benefit of myself, but for others too. A lot of people will say “I am just being myself, and you have to love me the way I am” even when it is obvious they are only creating alibis to avoid working on their weaknesses. Gold is gold, refined or not, but if it stays unrefined in the name of being true to itself, it will never be of any value; moreover, the price will be reduced and it can never be used for its purpose by staying   unrefined.
