SRAF ENDS THE YEAR WITH GODLINESS WITHOUT RELIGION
SRAF (Soul’e
Rhymez And Friends),
a community of great minds, doing their best to be the change they want in the
society with learning and personal developments has brought the year to a close
with a 3-day seminar tagged “Godliness
without Religion” which was handled by Soul’e
Rhymez, a writer and a public speaker, was one of the many successful
seminars conducted on the group throughout the year 2016.
The
three sessions of the seminar which are:, “Origin
and Concept of Sins”, “Jesus Christ;
a savior, not a Christian” and “The
Word Named Jesus Christ” as adapted from Soul’e Rhymez’s yet to be published book, steered up some controversies.
From
the start, the speaker was met with some counterclaims and in the second
session, he was called an agent of the devil, using the name of Christ to
deceive people. However, the third and last session convinced a lot of people,
who repented their accusations and applauded speaker’s intelligence and work
ethic.
Many
other guest speakers who has graced the platform includes: Mr. Olulu Holloway, the founder of War of Word TV poetry program, Mr. Gbadebo Emmanuel, a writer & Life-Coach,
Miss. Oyinkansola Braithwaith, a Screenwriter,
Miss. Chinonye J. Chidolue, Actress
& founder, CHEC, Mr. Akintola
Oluwaseun, Founder, BEempowered Consult, Mr. Onyekachi Jones Emmanuel, founder, LogicCV, Mr. Ifeanyi Bernard “Prestige, who was the
Scepters SpokenWord Artist of the year 2106 and many others have graced the
platform to share their knowledge and help the youths be at their best.
The
platform which was created by the perceived controversial writer, Soul’e Rhymez in 2013 with the singular
aim of sharing his numerous write-ups with his audience turned out to be a
platform that has reshaped a lot of people’s destinies and mentalities with
their various programs and seminars.
With
an estimated 1000 whatsapp group members
from different parts of the world, SRAF has treated several life threatening
issues and found solutions to them, this includes the issues of rape, gender
quality, virginity, cohabitation between unmarried couples; communication in
relationships and so on.
Year
2016 was a wonderful year for the group; they staged competitions, such as
poetry and quote competitions which became huge success, they also attracted
the attention of MyLagosApp, which
came in partnership with them and published most of their discussions alongside
other well known blogs, websites and magazines across the world.
The
leadership of the group has planned big for year 2016, they have a lot of
programs lined up which includes staging a banquet with will include award
presentation to the winners of their competitions and other outstanding
members.
