THE FUTURE IN THEIR HANDS
“Any society that neglects the development of her children will
have her future fluttered.” – Soul’e Rhymez
The future of any society lies in her children, because they are
the ones that grow to adults and becomes leaders.
If they are not well trained and empowered, the future will be
in shambles, thus there is no doubt; we have “The Future in their Hands”.
The pitiable situation of this nation could also be traced to
such negligence in the past.
But are we to continue to make the same way?
Children empowerment is the key to nation’s development; it is an
area of life that needs utmost attention.
To secure the future of our nation, Child Hero Empowerment
Campaign (CHEC), in continuation of her Child Empowerment Workshops, will be in
Arrows of God Orphanage Home at 4, Joyce Balogun (by Dipo Omotayo Street)
Okara-nla, Eti-Osa LGA, Ajah, Lagos state, Nigeria by 09: 00am on Saturday, 24th
of September, 2016 to empower the children again.
Miss. Timilehin Bello, a professional Caterer and the owner of “‘De’bella Cakes & Glasses
Catering Service”, all the way from Ibadan, will be teaching the kids how to
bake and the business side of baking. This is another way of empowering the
kids to work with their learnt skills and passion to secure a future for themselves
and become employers of labour to the glory of this nation.
On a likely
note, Joshua Edeh, the winner of the first edition of BBCM Talent Hunt; popularly
known as “Josh” on the music scene and “Kamba” to his pals, will be there to
entertain the children with his powerful vocal timbre and inspirational lyrics.
Josh, who is now hoping to secure a deal with HBC Records, will
serve as inspiration to the children to encourage them to work with their
talents and passion and achieve their set goals.
Come; let’s make the world a better place by empowering the children!
