TO THE WOMAN I LOVE (MY LOVE POEM)

To the woman I love,
let your heart be my witness
let her not be your weakness,
let her tell you
how much I love you.
Let her tell you
the distance I traveled for you.

To the woman I love,
let no mouth deceive you,
let no wheel wheel you away,
let no distance be the instance
for you to forget and say
I'm not right for you.

To the woman I love,
let no teacher teach treacherously,
Saying I'm less a man,
let not your head reason unreasonably,
saying my reluctance is born of fear,
let your heart convince you
of my undying love for you.

To the woman I love,
let the spoons in your house feed you
with the grains of my love,
let the Nightingale sing to your ears
through your window at down,
the sweet melodies of my love.
Let your standing mirror
reflect to you the magnitude of my love.

To the woman I love,
I know my coyness frustrate you
but this is to avoid one-traffic love.
The heavens testifies to my love for you
but only your friendship can lead
us to the land of romance.
for without true friendship,
love at first sight dies before
the second sigh-full sight.
True friendship is the sword
with which love wins her wars.

To the woman I love,
please let us be friends,
maybe that might take us to the
land of romance where we
shall sport and roll in to ball,
to be happy and bring forth fruits.

To the woman I love,
this is my humble request.
