What is O.R.M?
Online Reputation Management (O.R.M) is the process of measuring and altering the perception of a brand. Now brand here has moved from businesses and organizations to us as persons.
Succinctly, ORM is the management of our persona online, and as we all know everybody has got a Persona!

The social networks and media continue to grow today and this trend gives people more opportunities to interact with each other, as well as research about products and services on the internet.
Your business can either suffer or benefit from this trend, depending on how well you manage your ORM.

Since ORM means taking control of the online conversation, its techniques and strategies always ensure that people find the right and positive materials when they look for you on the internet.
Do you know that ORM starts from your Name, yes your display name or avatar or profile name etc?

ORM Formula:
1 Display name/ Profile Name.
2. Bio or About you.
3 Display Picture or Profile Picture.
4. Posts.

Why is the ORM formula important?
Because perception from what online users see would be used to judge you, not minding whether it is the actual you!
Technically, 70% of our Social media Friends have never meet us before!  So how do you think we rank in their mindset?
Only answer is from what they see us do Online!

For example, you can’t claim to be ready for business online and have a profile that goes thus:
Bio: Lover of Booze and Wine.
Display Picture: Lionel Messi.
Posts: basically rap music, Drake, Rihanna etc.
Any serious minded person that stumbles on this account would just view it, overlook and might never return.

ORM is basically taking care of your persona online in order to have positive and recommendable perception and assumptions.
That is more reason why some people have thousands of followers and thousands of retweets, likes and comments.
Not because they overdo things, but because they have a near perfect personality online.

Online and Offline are blending.
With each passing day, the online world becomes more and more enmeshed with the rest of our activities.
From Smartphones to smart TVs, to self driving cars, you are living each day increasingly online, even if you never touch a computer.
That means there are more and more ways for you to leave an online mark, positive or negative.
Now you might not think that people are searching for you, but chances are that they are!

Common reasons include:
1. Employers doing pre interview research.
2. Children searching for details of their parents "Real Lives".
3. Curious significant others, past and present.
4. Former colleagues looking to share professional opportunities.

No matter how "Under the Radar" or "Low Tech" your lifestyle, there is a good quantity of information about you online and people are seeing it!

Maybe we just don’t define them rightly. Now let’s define them. According to Oxford Dictionary, holy from which holiness is derived are defined as follows: 1. Person who has never had sexual intercourse. 2. (The Virgin) Christ's mother Mary. 3. (The Virgin) sign or constellation Virgo. —adj. 1 not yet used etc. 2. Virginal. [Latin virgo -gin-] All the above definitions of virgin points to one thing: natural state of something; a state of not being utilized.
