WHO FIGHTS FREEDOM?

When freedom fighters fights freedom?
When insurgency fights freedom?
When political party fights freedom?
Who then fights our starving tummy?
With good stomach infrastructure

~
If you ask me,
Who then will I ask?
Of our missing girls,
In our missing budget?
Who do we ask?

~
Of our electrons and protons
that loose scent in light bulbs.
Who then will say we don't have roads?
When we drive through fuel prize
with enfolding queues,

~
Catapulting our suffering lives;
Like a burnt meal in a fry pan.
Who can fight for freedom?
As old soldiers fights pensions,
Day in day out without stipends of well-done

~
Who can fight for freedom?
With fists of Nelson Mandela;
Not with the hands that needs Amala.
Who can fight for freedom?
Without chewing something even kola

POEM 1 And Divinity Wept Love I marvel how Divinity could ever demonstrate love A love for humanity so pure as pure as a dove: In his love was love and a love void of lust, For on the cross he bled and suffered to save the lost. He considered not the affliction and pain For with his suffering comes great gain; With his blood the sin of mankind was cleansed As perfect redemption was made that heavens may be appeased. Let ’ s start by knowing what we call Communication. COMMUNICATION As food and water is crucial to human survival, so does Communication. Communication pervades every human activity, man cannot do without it. We are engrossed in it from the time we wake up in the morning until we go back to bed in the night; from birth to death we are in perpetual state of communication. It is a phenomenon that cuts across the daily activities of human beings. In fact, the pervasive nature of communication makes it impossible for us to ever refuse to communicate as long as we are living. Hence, the axiom; “ we cannot not communicate ” comes into place. In view of the above, one will see that communication is very important to man. It is a cord that binds every part of the society together. HOLINESS AND VIRGINITY

Talking about virginity to some people, you are indirectly talking about holiness, but have we ever tried to ask what the differences are? Does virginity have anything to do with holiness? Maybe we just don’t define them rightly. Now let’s define them. According to Oxford Dictionary, holy from which holiness is derived are defined as follows: 1. Morally and spiritually excellent or perfect, and to be revered. 2. Belonging to or devoted to God. 3. consecrated, sacred. [Old English: related to *whole] Let’s talk the meaning of virginity just as well. Virginity means remaining a virgin and according to Oxford Dictionary virgin is defined as follows: 1. Person who has never had sexual intercourse. 2. (The Virgin) Christ's mother Mary. 3. (The Virgin) sign or constellation Virgo. —adj. 1 not yet used etc. 2. Virginal. [Latin virgo -gin-] All the above definitions of virgin points to one thing: natural state of something; a state of not being utilized.
