For some time now, a lot of people have tried to divorce lust from love. In religion, lust is simply sexual want, thus anyone that wants sex or demands for it, especially before or outside marriage is considered lustful. Some dictionaries also define it as such, while some of them are quite close to the meaning. This misconception is most times due to inability to define love. If love can’t be defined, it is hard to fully define lust, because love actually precedes lust. To decipher the differences between both of them, we have to define them rightly. What is love? According to Soul’e Rhymez in an essay titled “The Trait Called Love”, love is defined as: God’s trait in human beings, which inspired their caving to nurture and preserve their lives. This seem the most accurate definition of love, other definitions are not encompassing. Take note of the word “craving” and “nurture”. What is lust?

When I first wrote the article titled "The Image of God” and published it online, controversies trailed my claim that hatred is a Godly trait. Many religious people and scriptures users disagreed with my claim saying, God is love and it is impossible to have hate in him at the same time. They quoted several scriptures that supported their claims that God is love, but not one that says God is hate or claim that he has hate in him, thus my claim was not accepted by a single person. That was bad, and even worse as I lost friends as a result, they felt I was one of the fake prophets that Jesus prophesied would crop up in the end time.

It is obvious; education in this part of the world has become indoctrination. It seems we are satisfied with the bragging rights: certificates and fluency in the use of English Language. I expected worse from a country that are not encouraged to produced things they use and when dollar is high, importing these things cost more and inflation set in. The workshop which was themed "They too are the earth" took place on Friday 26th of August 2016, at the Vigilant Heart Charitable Society Orphanage and kicked off at 10:00am with most of the team members already present. It started with an opening prayer amongst us, led by Ifeanyi Bernard. Next in line, we introduced ourselves to the children and this was done by CHEC's president, Chinonye Chidolue. She explained to them who we are as C.H.E.C and really broke down our activities, what we do and what we have achieved in the past with other orphanages. Ifeanyi came up next to liven up the children, play with them a little and to prepare their minds for the speech that was to come.

Except charm is involved or other diabolical means, the belief that there is something spiritual about being drawn back to someone’s first lover is a grand illusion. However, quite a lot of people find it hard to overcome the temptation of returning to their first love, even when they are married. This they blamed on some uncontrollable spiritual attraction. This illusion was made famous by the moralists, mostly religious, in a bid to have people avoid premarital sex. However, their approach has done more harm than good. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LOVE AND JEALOUSY   A lot has been said about love and jealousy, most people believe that without jealousy, there is no love, however, a lot of people out of jealousy have injured their partners, who they claim to love so much. I have heard of and read of several acts of jealousy in relationships and I could only ask if jealousy actually depicts love. There are cases where suspected rivals are murdered, all in the name of jealousy. Some people even cause their partners bodily harm and death, claiming it is love and I wonder if loving your partner makes you want to hurt them or otherwise. Does jealousy actually mean you love someone? What is the relationship between love and jealousy?
